BACKSTAGE PASS
Here's your backstage pass to the hottest show in town! Tonight we had our Tech Run. It was a long, long, long night. Thor was cursing Tiew Niah Mah and every Mother expression known in Cantonese, Patrick was shivering his nuts off wearing only a singlet while also cursing Tiew Niah Mah, Jia-Wei was so worried about her set she walked into the sofa, Ben was thinking of having Bak Kut Teh for supper as he walked into the stand supporting the set backstage, U-En was still trying out different intentions, Ian was showing off his muscles again, Gavin was (believe it or not) asking the actors to stay in character while Lina was patiently jotting down everyone's demands. (Lina, where's the smoking area? Lina I need my jacket backstage, there's not enough time for me to walk to the dressing room, Lina can you ask Security to turn the air-conditioning down?, Lina can you make sure the costumes are ironed?, Lina we need glow tape behind the banister as well, Lina can you see if Ian is eating in the restaurant? Lina, Lina, Lina...)
The star of the evening was, however, Lim Ang Swee, our very own lighting genius. Move over Mac! As you can see from these never-before-seen shots, the production is looking fffffabulous....
